Facilitator For Training Programs Needed

Tuesday, May 13th, 2008 |

I work as a facilitator for a small independent consulting company called Audeamus International. I have decided to leave my position due to family obligations in Canada, and so am seeking my replacement.

This coming May 24-June 19 we are running an intensive leadership and cultural awareness training program in the Philippines. It is conducted entirely in English. Up to twenty businesspeople from Korea and other Asian countries are sent by their companies for the program.

I would like someone to “shadow” me during this program to learn what my position entails from first hand experience. This isn’t an “English camp” and it’s not just a workshop. We hold 4-6 training programs every year at present, with time off in between each program.

As a facilitator your responsibilities would include:

* Co-facilitating a 20 hour module called “Global Cultures”. All the materials are prepared. You would shadow me in order to be able to take over in the future.
* Co-facilitating English Support classes and Coaching in Personal Development.
* Co-supervise the completion of several activities such as a Treasure Hunt, social evenings, etc.
* Become familiar with the organization that is required in setting up the program. I am currently responsible for making sure that all the modules are delivered seamlessly, and in general that the ship runs smoothly…

The program is run in Manila and a small resort town called Sabang. We all have days off during the program to enjoy that we’re at the beach.

Renumeration will be negotiated, depending on how long you’d be able to come and shadow me, and whether the company decides to hire you on for the future.

Minimum education required: Bachelor’s degree.

More importantly, at least one year of work experience in Asia is required (Korea, Taiwan, Japan, China…)

If you are interested, contact me and we can do a phone interview. Reach me at stacey.gheyssen@audeamusinternational.com
