Teach Young Children in Moscow

Friday, February 8th, 2008 |

We are a private nursery school in Moscow offering the British National Curriculum to expatriate children and Russian nationals from 3 to 6 years old.

The English Nursery School (ENS) was founded in the spring of 2004. All of our teachers are highly qualified and devoted native English speakers. The teacher to pupil ratio at the ENS is 1:5, and the learning is based upon the United Kingdom`s “Foundation Stage” programme, that is a specially designed curriculum for early pre-school education. We use the immersion method, which is the most effective one for teaching children a foreign language. The Nursery group is for children from 3 to 4 years old, and the Reception group, which prepares children for primary school, is for children from 4 to 6 year olds.

We feel our primary job is to reach the individual needs of the children, and to empower them with confidence in their abilities. At ENS we have a relaxed, friendly, family-like atmosphere, full of warmth, trust and affection. Thus, our children feel safe and secure, and gain self-confidence from the very start of their studies.
