School is seeking native English speakers form its international teaching staff for the 2008-2009 academic year. CEDEI School is located in Cuenca, Ecuador. Cuenca is a small colonial city in the Andes Mountains.
The Centro de Estudios Interamericanos (CEDEI), a non-profit academic institution with over 15 years of experience dedicated to the understanding of languages and cultures of the Americas, is situated in both Cuenca and Gualaceo, Ecuador. CEDEI seeks qualified EFL teachers for October 2008. CEDEI has two sites in Cuenca offering English classes to more than 700 students with a staff of at least 40 teachers.
The American School of Guayaquil is a K-12, bilingual IB school with 1500 students. It is located in the city of Guayaquil (Pacific Ocean port). Academic year begins APRIL 1st. Some positions to begin in August (2nd semester). We currently have a need for two high school English teachers (must have undergraduate degree in English or teaching state credential). Classes are held from 0715 to 1430 on the week days. Paid vacations (including at least two month during January, February and March).
Small school of Language and Culture in Cuenca, Ecuador. Needs an enthusiastic English professor with experience and TESL certification to teach various ages and levels in small classes or tutorials. Must be amenable to a flexible schedule.

Childrengenios is a preschool and Elementary School that every year has a native American speaker helping to teach classes to our students. It is a great opportunity for one who likes children and wants to learn the language and culture of Latin America. Quito is the capital of Ecuador and is part of the world heritage list. Ecuador is located in South America and Galapagos Island is part of it. Due to its location Ecuador has beautiful geographical features, home of varied landscapes with infinite soil types, ecosystems, and microclimates which means that there are thousands of unique species of flora and fauna.
We offer three different options. The applicants must choose one:
1. Accommodation with a host family which includes three meals a day, internet, national phone calls, laundry.
2. Monthly payment of USD$350 an excellent competitive salary in Ecuadorian terms, but no accommodation neither flight.
3. Flight ticket up to 1200 dollars but no accommodation neither salary.
* However we give orientation to familiarize with Quito and look for reasonably priced housing options if necessary.
Minimum requirements are:
- Native born, North American English speaker. Minimum Age: 21 years
- Able to commit minimum 4 months
- Be a graduate student, recent graduate or professional
- Do not speak Spanish
- Be highly committed, responsible and flexible
