Teach 30 hours per week

We are currently offering the unique opportunity to teach abroad in a safe and comfortable atmosphere both inside and out of the classroom. This is an open invitation to be part of the Escuela Bilingue Honduras’ 2008-2009 teaching staff.

Our school is offering a 10 month contract, reimbursement of air far upon successful completion of contract, housing, minor medical expenditures, lunch every school day, monthly payment of about $552 which provides for comfortable living in Honduras as well as the possibility to travel in central America, half salary bonus during Christmas break and half salary bonus during Easter week and most importantly the opportunity to experience a new cultural and working experience.

Volunteer Teach in Honduras

My Little Red House Bilingual School is currently looking for volunteer teachers to teach English as well as to learn or practice Spanish. Room and board will be provided along with the chance to make some money giving private classes to either students at the school or to adults in the city. You will also have ample time to get to know the city of Ocotepeque and to get involved in the community if you so wish. On weekends and other school vacations you can also explore outlaying areas, travel to historical Copan Ruins or the beautiful Bay Islands.

The type of person we are looking for must know English very well and he or she doesn‚t have to be native speaker. The person also has to love working with children as the school has students from pre-school to grade six, Be patient and have great creativity and imagination. Of course, living in another country for some time also means that the foreigners who decide to come here have to be open to other cultures.
