• Extensive teaching and leadership experience in the designated area
• Skills and experience in using information and communication technology to enhance learning
• Outstanding English fluency both written and spoken; ability in Arabic as well, a plus
• Excellent skills in teamwork and building relationships

Other Desired Qualifications include
• Further training and/or experience teaching English as a Foreign Language
• Cross-cultural/international teaching experience, particularly in the Middle East

The Process:
The review of applications for both January and August 2008 will begin immediately and continue until all positions are filled. Where necessary, interviews will be via videoconference. First priority will be given to those who meet all the requirements for each position but others with the potential and desire to achieve those levels will also be considered.

Berlitz pays the income taxes of its teachers and provides national health care benefits to all its full-time teachers, once they obtain work visa and residency permit.

Depending on availability, qualifications and seniority of the teachers at Berlitz,the teacher may be assigned to one of our apartments. Otherwise the teacher will be given monthly housing allowance.

On the average, the full-time teachers teach 80-120 units a month and a competitive salary is paid for it, net of taxes. The full time teachers are guaranteed minimum 80 units per month.
