Kabul and Balkh Universities are seeking Consulting Lecturers in English for Specific Purposes. Salaries are funded from a World Bank grant.
The ESP lecturers will manage English-teaching programs in Engineering, Law, Journalism, Natural Sciences, and Economics.
Appointments are for eight months and begin March 21, 2008. Native speakers are preferred.
Qualifications are a Master’s degree and at least one year of teaching experience.
The salary range is $35,000 to $40,000 U.S., plus a benefits package, depending on qualifications. Lecturers will be employees of the Afghan Ministry of Higher Education.

English male\female teacher needed in Saudi Arabia. The New Generation Center for English Language in Qassim (Al Rass City) in Saudi Arabia is a new center and offers a variety of English language programs and services. We are currently looking for a teacher:
Muslim, single, male & female, native speaker of English who is committed, flexible creative, and under the age of 45.
Qualifications: We prefer a teacher who has some experience with teaching English as a second language and any certificates in teaching English. (At least CELTA or equivalent Students’ age/level: All age groups/all levels Availability: immediately.
Offer of Employment :
1. Basic Salary: 4500 SR(Saudi Riyal) monthly (Tax Free)+ The bonus which varies according to the teacher’s ability. Open negotiation with experienced foreign teachers.

Environment: Al Rass City is a town in the Qassim area in the center of Saudi Arabia at a distance of 450 Kilometers from Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. It is connected to other parts of Saudi Arabia by a highway and is served by a domestic airport. There are regular bus-trips from Al Rass to all other cities in Saudi Arabia.
The weather in Al Rass: In winter, jackets are necessary. The average temperature during winter is 7 to 21 C. The months of June through September are usually hot, but every building and housing unit is air-conditioned. Al Rass has several banks, supermarkets, bakeries and restaurants.

Our current positions will be in primary schools and the grades would be from 1-7th year. The ages of the children would range from 6-13 years. There is a possible High School opening.
Highlights of the contracts
Airfare (one way at the beginning and one way at the end of contract unless you renew and then you get a roundtrip ticket)
Paid furnished housing,(shared at some schools) you would only need to pay the utilities. Housing stipend of 200 USD if you choose to not share.
Health insurance
M-F work week, with some unpaid teacher training times and parents meetings outside school hours
20-25 classroom hours per week, and you would be expected to participate in the normal routine of a school. They do have regularly scheduled teacher training/meeting once a week.
School transit bus to and from your housing these buses are usually for teachers only, but in some cases due to your housing location you would be riding with students. Trip is around 20-30 minutes to the school.
School Lunch every school day
Pay 1,600 USD/Net/per month—-1,9000 USD/Net/per month. School pays all Turkish taxes.
Paid mid year break of approximately 2 weeks, and all religious and government holidays that fall during the school week.
10 to 12 month contracts–12 MONTH contracts include paid summer vacation.

Jubail Industrial College, an English-medium, vocational training college requires, male, English Native speaking EFL Senior Lecturers, Lecturers and Instructors for its English Language Center. Student numbers have almost doubled in the last few years, hence the ongoing need for new staff. The chosen candidates will have a primary teaching allocation of 20 hours. Most will be teaching the Preparatory English course, which using materials prepared by Saudi Aramco, is intended to prepare students to continue their technical or business training through the medium of English. There are also specialization courses in the later years, and a number of special needs classes for industrial trainees from companies in Jubail.
All students are male, normally in the age range 18-23, and come from all over Saudi Arabia. The ELC staff comes from a variety of countries. Applications from other English speaking countries are particularly sought after as well as applications from those candidates whose secondary and tertiary education was completed in an English speaking country. The College now welcomes applications for February 2008 and September 2008.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Minimum Bachelor’s degree in English or Foreign Languages; preferably one-year full-time postgraduate degree or an MS/MA/MAT in TEFL /TESL or related field from an accredited university. Candidates with a first degree in other subjects will need formal EFL qualifications.
Experience : At least two years full-time teaching of English as a foreign language for those candidates with an MA, and four years for those with a BA only; the experience should preferably be in the Middle East; experience in curriculum development and evaluation and test-writing is preferred.
