Bridge Institute, located in the city of Querétaro, is currently hiring for part-time positions starting in January 2011. Querétaro is a beautiful, medium-sized city located in the Bajío region about two and a half hours from Mexico City. The job consists of teaching morning and afternoon on-site Business English classes for a total of 8 to 12 teaching hours per week. The compensation for these classes is sufficient to cover living costs such as rent, food and other necessary expenses. The school will also assist in finding adequate accommodations for new teachers. Normally, there are numerous opportunities for teachers to obtain extra hours by substituting at the institute or taking on private classes during their free hours.
The minimum qualifications to be considered for a teaching post at Bridge are an initial TESOL certificate (Trinity TESOL certificate or CELTA preferred) and at least one year of teaching experience. Sueños Compartidos is seeking camp leaders for Christmas Camp in Mexico!! Two locations – southern Oaxaca and southern Veracruz – six teachers in each location will teach English, sports, dance to students in grades 1-6. Dates are Saturday, December 19, 2009 – Friday, January 8, 2010 (one week of training and two weeks of camp). Training will occur in the town of Cholula (state of Puebla, near Mexico City). Teaching in exchange for family homestay (room and board with local family) – no work visa needed!

CID Center (Carmen International Development Center) is a start-up private school on la isla de Carmen in Campeche, MÈxico. CID is a small (65 students) language and culture center that provides classroom instruction to two different types of learners:
1) Children ranging in age from 5-15 years and
2) Adults whose English language skills are at a variety of levels.
CID Center is seeking one full-time English teacher.

Educational Requirements:

*Minimum of one year elementary classroom teaching experience Or evidence of successful completion of a student teaching experience at an accredited university.
*Elementary/primary teaching credentials/ qualifications.
*EFL/ESL teaching certificate
Additional:

Job Description and Responsibilities
*Teaching English to adult participants and students K-8 (5-6 classes/day)
*Preparation of lesson plans and activities that are project oriented and based on the needs of the students. Creativity, flexibility, commitment, and ability to adapt to an experiential.
*Active participation in all school events and extra curricular activities.
*Participation in the development of the school-wide program and Faculty/ staff training and activities as appropriate to this assignment.
*Previous international experience preferred.

*Salary: $23 – 25,000 MX pesos per month
*Date of Employment: As soon as possible.
